Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a guided experience, with the assistance of a therapist, prescribing provider, your own inner wisdom and the legal medicine of ketamine to help you get in touch with healing on a deeper, transformative level. Typically used to help in cases of treatment resistant depression, PTSD, OCD, addictions, anxiety and suicidality, there is also emerging interest and data in the use of ketamine for eating disorders.
At low doses, ketamine can produce the experience of self-transcendence, contacting sensations of love and joy, releasing pain and difficult emotions and helping one clarify who and what is important to you. We work together with KAP so that you can get unstuck and move around the obstacles of rigidity, ruminative thinking patterns and automatic thoughts, keep focused on your recovery journey and have a compass for where and what to navigate to when the road gets difficult and confusing.
