Individual Therapy and Family Therapy in Colorado, Maine, Oregon and Wyoming
One thing I've come to appreciate over the years is that every human who comes to me is unique, fascinating, and deserving of love. Although it may be hard to find in the maze of worries, doubts, regrets, grief, anger, shame, self-punishment, and sadness, there is always a “you” inside who is capable of living a full and fulfilled life - one meaningful and worthy of sharing with others.
Using the evidenced-based and well-researched therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for individuals and Emotion Focused Family Therapy for families, we can work together on the processes that will help you get well and spend time on the things that take you towards a rewarding and satisfying future. Too often, therapy time is spent on the solving of problems with a very small amount of focus on what you want to move towards and what comes next.
I have no doubt that you have tried many things to ease your distress,
and sometimes, those things may also cause more suffering.
Whether you are struggling with an eating disorder or other mental health challenges, it can be very difficult to trust in the possibility that things can be different. That you can begin focusing on the good in life, even if you haven't worked through your issues. That you do, in fact, deserve to be happy.
Individual Therapy and Family Therapy both follow an outpatient model of weekly therapy sessions, during which I work with an individual or the family in healing past wounds, managing distress, and moving towards the life they want to live. I have treated many clinicians and difficult cases and have a small percentage of my business for folks who need this service.
The fee for psychotherapy is $157.50 for 45 minutes or $210 for 60 minutes.
